McKenzie Taylor, ND, CHS

My name is Mckenzie Taylor, but people call me Kenzi. I’ve been married to my husband Adam since 2010, we have a love of helping people, a cat, two big dogs, and welcomed our amazing son, Ace in June of 2022.  I am the owner of Taylor's Herbs, and Herbal Medicine & Nutrition is my expertise. We have helped hundreds of people reach their health goals naturally since starting our business in 2013. With over 10 years of natural health training and experience, I am determined to teach, train, and empower you to listen to your body and trust in its ability to heal itself. I always say, “the body is beautifully complex, yet really simple” and I intend on helping you learn that.

My journey started in the medical field and through my adversities, God directed me to natural medicine. I have been a part of the natural health field since 2010 working alongside chiropractor, Dr. James Bugg DC. There are many reasons why I chose the Natural health profession - my desire to help people, life experiences, interest in the medical profession, and my overall faith in my Lord and Savior.

My Story
During my sophomore year of high school, I become ill. I woke up one day and literally was unable to walk.  For months, I saw many of the state’s top specialists, and was even hospitalized under the care of a neurosurgeon. All of these specialists came up with many diverse misdiagnoses.  After nearly two years of being over-medicated and abused by the medical community, we sought help from a chiropractor. Dr. James Bugg, DC discovered I suffered from Piriformis Syndrome. Through adjustments and natural remedies, I regained my life back.

Those same Chiropractors later hired me to work in their office where I was able to begin my journey of helping and healing others. They taught me the importance of spinal realignments and overall nutrition.  I later began working alongside Sandy Taylor, ND, the former owner of Sandy’s Herbs. She soon retired to spend more time traveling with her husband and playing with her grandchildren. She handed the business over to me. We made the change from Sandy’s Herbs to Taylor’s Herbs, and the rest is history!

The second part of my journey revolved around the growing health issue in America, fertility. It has been my hearts yearning to help families grow and bring beautiful, healthy children into the World. After helping several families regain their fertility; my husband Adam and I unfortunately did not. After trying everything under the sun the Lord lead us down a path of fertility treatments which through His promise brought us our son Ace. After having to fight so hard for him, go through expansive medical treatments and a hard pregnancy I feel even more empowered to help others work through their fertility issues.

Throughout my short life, my experiences have matured me beyond my years, and led me to my calling of helping and healing others. I firmly believe God has guided and directed me to this path, and through my pain and suffering, I have learned that the only way, is His way, the natural way.

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.” 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 NKJV

I received my Certified Health Specialist degree in October 2013, and my Doctor of Naturopathy from Trinity School of Natural Health in August of 2016.
